About us

Water for Life supplies water purification units across East Africa, starting in Rwanda. We handle site assessment, installation, operator training and servicing.

We work with households, offices, communities, schools, clinics, businesses and public facilities. Capacity and setup are matched to the site rather than sold as a single package.

Where the water comes from

Whatever the source, the water that comes out is safe to drink

Most sites already have water nearby. It is rarely safe, and treating it where it sits is faster and cheaper than piping clean water in from somewhere else.

What is in every unit

Solar powered

Units run on their own solar panels, so they work with no grid electricity and no running power cost.

A range of sources

Whatever water the site already has is treated to the same safe drinking standard.

Filtration and storage

Removes 99.9% of physical and bacterial contamination, with treated water held in on board storage.

Continuous quality checks

Sensors test the water as it runs, so what comes out of the tap stays safe.

Live data

Volume and performance are reported daily, so operators and funders can see what a site produces.

Built to move

Enclosed, containerised design for rough conditions, transportable by road or sea and quick to set up.
